This week has been a bit melancholy. Maybe it's the January blues (classes just started and I'm still on holiday mode). I came across a new band called Aquilo. Their music is nice to listen to while relaxing at the end of the day. I Gave It All's video is heartbreaking but the cinematography is breathtakingly beautiful!

uuuuuuu (squeal!) christmas is just around the corner and I can't wait to get my sparkly skirt for a whirl! Sequins and christmas come hand in hand like chocolate and marshmallows. I have been playing Wham!'s Last Christmas on my playlist because why not? This song is catchy and you know you just wanna sing-a-long to it (don't deny it!) Everything about this song; the melody, the ooohs and the aaahs, the "merry christmas" whisper in the middle of the song, the 80s montage in the Alps, the lyrics! errthangg about it! Lol.

my sister sent me a message and told me that zoe kravitz has formed a band and it's called Lolawolf and they have a song with a$ap rocky and it's amazing. I was just like "okaaay random but okaayyy" and then I remembered that she has an obsession with a$ap rocky so she might be a bit biased but I gave it a listen and i'm quite impressed with Lolawolf's Jimmy Franco. I've been listening to this in the morning while I get ready.

I've always had a soft spot for sappy sad love songs. To be honest, I am just an emotional person. I tend to put too much thought or "too much feels" into something. Sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes it's not. I mean, I can cry when I see someone else cries! What's that about.. Lol.

HEYYYAAAAA!

Last week, my friends and I watched August Osage County. It stars Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts. If you haven't seen this movie, go watch it! It's heavy but worth watching (and don't forget the tissues! i guarantee that you will cry. if you don't... are you made of stone? LOL Jokes!) Besides, Meryl Streep is in it. There is no such thing as a bad movie (?/bad performance?) in existence that has her in it! I mean, this woman has been nominated for an academy award 18 times for a reason!

Anyways, when the credits started rolling, this song came on but I didn't recognized that it was last mile home until I got to the chorus and I heard "dreaming on the last mile home" & it hit me! it's an acoustic version & I fell in love with this song even more! I'm gonna stop talking typing and let the song do the "talking"
