Hiiiiii!
My oh my, it's february already. This year, my aim is to minimise my spendings so that I can save up for travelling around Europe. I need to stop spending and save up! This year, I'm hoping to go to Spain, Portugal and Hungary *fingers crossed* Regardless, there is nothing wrong with making a wishlist for clothes and beauty, imma right?
My first item is this beautiful flowy off-the shoulder crop top from Asos. I would pair this with high waisted jeans or a high waisted skirt and delicate jewellery. I'm already in love just thinking about styling this top.
My second item is a navy top from Zara. It's all in the details, baby. The embroidered cuff makes this top special. Can you imagine, wearing this top with a leather jacket and you take the sleeve of the top out a bit so the cuff can be seen? Gorgeous!
My third item is a beauty product from Aesop. I've been looking for a mask and I've heard great reviews from this one! I've used Aesop's moisturisers before and I would love to try another product from Aesop. Besides, the packaging is sahh cute!
My fourth item is a shopper bag from Zara. I don't have a big shopper bag in my bag collection. So, why not?
Lastly, items 5 and 6 are both from & Other Stories. I am trying to wear more delicate jewellery and these two would be a great addition to my not-so impressive jewellery collection.

January Favourites
Hiiiii
I don't have that much of favourites for the month of January but I found some ah-mazing things that has made my January pretty good.
I've been wanting to try Bioderma solution for ages but the price is 'justridiculous! So I never got around into trying it. Then along came Garnier's micellar water and I thought, "why not?" As soon as my make-up remover ran out, I went straight to Boots and got myself the micellar water. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't sting my skin or my eyes at all! It removes eyeliner and mascara pretty well after two wipes (with my previous make-up remover, it would take me about 4/5 wipes before everything clears up around my eyes :/) Lastly, I've been wanting to get some colour on my skin (winter just makes me feel like a pale vampire.. i need some tan yo) I picked this liquid bronzer and I must say, I is loving this! I put it on the top of my cheeks and the hollow of my cheeks (as if you're contouring your face) and it just changes your whole look. I look brighter and there's this glow. Once you go bronze, you can never go back! Lolllllll.
Sia's voice, that little girl dancing and an almost naked Shia Labeouf, need I say more?

Outfit:
I think my heart literally skipped a beat when I saw this on Asos' sale section. It was only £25 and I clicked Add to Basket straight away. Sadly, it's out of stock but I found something similar in the link above :) I'm almost scared of taking it out into the world because it's just so pretty....

Music Fridays
This week has been a bit melancholy. Maybe it's the January blues (classes just started and I'm still on holiday mode). I came across a new band called Aquilo. Their music is nice to listen to while relaxing at the end of the day. I Gave It All's video is heartbreaking but the cinematography is breathtakingly beautiful!
"it's harder now we're breaking, and I should know it's never right for me to say that I wanted this, I know I can't but I can still recall" - i gave it all by aquilo
There's a second part to video, click here if you want to check it out.
Have a good weekend!

Current Lipstick Favourites
Even on my laziest days, I would make the effort to put on lipstick. I remember when I was little, I would steal my mum's lipsticks and play dress up. It has been a part of my life since I was a little girl, there's a sense of nostalgia to it and it's the one product in my make-up bag that I can never part with (okay, maybe not one product but multiple lipsticks.. hey, you need a lipstick for every occasion!) Lipstick is a pick me up. It adds colour to your face. It gives you confidence. It makes you feel like strutting down that runway street and start your day feeling like a Beyonce!
My current favs are: Topshop's Lips in Role Model, Nyx's Soft Matte Cream in Antwerp and Rimmel's Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Big Band
I've been using Nyx's Antwerp for everyday use. This shade is the prettiest pink that flatters everyone! Believe me, if you don't have Antwerp, go purchase it now!! I love using Rimmel's Big Band for a night out. I've tried a fair amount of red lipsticks/lipglosses but this one makes me feel confident and you know, getting ma Beyonce on (Lol!) and lastly, Topshop's Role Model when I'm feeling a little daring. I was afraid of purple until I found this particular shade that I am madly in love with, it was my go-to colour throughout December, such a lovely wintery shade.
what are your favourite lipsticks?

That's Where Eye Draw The Line
Who else do I plagiarise if not Alexa Chung when it comes to eyeliner? My uni will not be pleased with this. Lol. Moving on, Alexa Chung, to me, has perfected the cat eye look that was donned by the effortless beauty Brigitte Bardot. I personally love the cat eye look and has made it a part of my daily routine. If I could get a sticker that could give me the perfect cat eye, I would run straight to the stores and scream "GIVE IT TO ME NOW!" (you know sometimes you just have one of those days and you can't give a shit about doing your make-up, that cat eye sticker would totes come in handy!)
I begin with putting on a bit of concealer on my eyelids as a base and to cover up any redness. Then, I take my eyeliner and I like to start from the outer corners of eyes and work my way in. I sort of angle my eyeliner to create a flick (I follow the bottom line of eyes and use that as a guide to create the flick) Once I have the flick, I'll draw a line from the outer corner of my eyes to the inner corner of my eyes. VoilĂ , you're cat-eye ready.
Eyeko's collaboration with Alexa Chung. How adorbs is the packaging?
Here's a tutorial from Alexa Chung herself to get the make-up look,

Here's to 2015
Happy New Year! Welcome 2015!
Wow. I cannot believe that 2015 has arrived! 2014 flew by quickly, too quickly I think. As I get older, I feel as if every single year fly by too fast. I can't get a hold of my days and it just slips right through my fingers. I don't like it. I miss being a child and time was flying by slowly and I could seize each moment of every day. Now, with all the bustling and the hustling, every thing is moving too quickly. Can't time stop or slow down for a second?
What a sappy way to start this post. Enough of that! Let's welcome 2015 with open arms. People are always on about new year's resolution at the beginning of the new year but lesbehonest (high five to those who got the pitch perfect reference) with ourselves, do we actually do any of it as the year progress? Every year I would create a new list of what my resolutions are for the year and I've never actually fulfilled any of it. Never came around to it or I just forgot =P So for 2014, I decided not to create a list but to have one goal and one goal only and that goal is...
and I must say that that resolution is still true to my soul! My 2015 resolution is still to become Beyoncé. I've nailed (well, at least I think so) the single ladies hand thing dance (mind you, I've only got the hand part, not the whole dance routine yet. hahaha) but hey, it is a step closer into becoming Queen Bey.
